Project Safety Management

Regehr Workplace Safety Solutions Ltd. offers full management solutions as well as project support for all types and sizes of projects. We have provided full management services for small and large projects ranging from small $1,000 projects to large capital projects in excess of $150,000,000.

These services include but are not limited to:

• Management of prime contractor health and safety responsibilities on several large projects

  • Create site-specific safety management plans, including job hazard identification and assessment

  • Provide site safety coordination personnel and multiple levels of First Aid

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure safety compliance

  • Coordinate traffic control and review traffic management plans

  • Organize and lead site safety coordination meetings

  • Conduct research and educate project staff on regulations and procedures relating to COVID-19, Traffic Control, WorkSafeBC, and the owner

• Development of Health and Safety Management system

• Development of health and safety procedures (e.g., confined space entry, asbestos ECP, excavation and ground disturbance etc.)

• Development of Site-Specific Safety Management Plans and Environmental Protection Plans for various sized projects

• Development and management of Joint Health and Safety Committees

• Conduct annual Certificate of Recognition (COR) Audit

• Conduct safety related training such as Fall Protection, Asbestos Awareness, Silica Awareness, WHMIS, and JHSC training.

• Attend construction meetings as required, speaking to any safety concerns

• Conduct incident investigations and assist in enforcing company Drug and Alcohol and Progressive Discipline policies

• Facilitate bi-monthly safety meetings and monthly Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings  

• Respond to emergency situations/events (i.e. major incidents, utility strikes etc.)

• Provide timely support for all health and safety needs
